After years of travelling and dreaming Mirjam Verschoor and Monique Segeren started their ultimate dream in 2005. In 2006 the ideal property was found: a historical building near the river Maas and Erasmus bridge. The renovation of the building has been done pretty much on their own. A contractor did the work on the historical outside of the building. On the inside the two young women did most of
the work themselves with the help of family and friends. For the thematic design of the rooms, they worked with students of the Artemis Interior and Styling Academy. Ever since the opening in June 2006 hostel ROOM has been a home away from home for many international travellers. Being travellers ourselves we know its important to stay in a friendly, clean, safe and fun hostel with all the facilities you need at any time you like. All this is being highly appreciated by our guests and they rewarded us with:
