White tent. White thread. White nail polish.

A few hundred square meters of white canvas spent this week on our sewing tables.

It is a large export order, white stretch tents headed to one of our international clients. The fabric arrives by the roll. From there it gets cut, joined, reinforced, and finished with loops and patches at every point that will eventually carry weight.

The detail we noticed last: Anneke wore white nail polish that day. Whether it matched the tents on purpose, we forgot to ask. The work matched, that we can confirm.

About an hour out of Barcelona, the city falls away.

You drive past dry hills, low walls, the occasional olive tree, and you arrive at a masia. White walls, a quiet pool, old palm trees that have probably outlived a few owners.

Our partner installed one of our stretch tents on the property last season.

What they did not do is the best part. They did not cut down the palm tree that sat in the way. They let it grow straight through the canvas, so the tent and the tree now share the same address.

This is where weddings happen here. Where long family lunches turn into long family evenings.

Three weeks ago, Twan walked into our factory for the first time.

Fifteen years old, a student at and trying to answer the question every teenager gets sooner or later.

A three-week orientation internship with us seemed like a good way to find out what a workday actually feels like.

A new shipment of poles came in this week. A lot of them.

These are what hold our stretch tents up. Not for centuries like the wooden poles under Amsterdam, but long enough for a full season of weddings, parties and family gatherings.

A few years ago we started to improve our weld. Now we test it everyday.

If the canvas rips down the middle and the weld stays intact, the seam is strong enough for outside. If not, the machine goes back into adjustment.

Jos runs this test every morning. Production manager, problem solver, the guy who notices the small things first.

Weather changes the welds day by day. The test stays the same.

The shade for lunch. The cover when the sun gets too much. The center point of the afternoon.

This one was installed with our partner . Right where it belongs.

A stretch tent does not need a venue. Sometimes it just needs the right field.

Meet Jos, our production manager.
He walks the hall every morning. Checks every machine.

Cleans the welding track before production starts.
One speck of dust is enough to flash into a flame and burn through the fabric.

His colleagues call him their inventor. The one who figures things out.

Meet Cinderella… uhh… Nadia. One of our Ukrainian colleagues from the sewing room.

She makes a fine fairytale princess in this photo, but the dress around her is actually the next Eurostretch stretch tent on its way to a client.

Nadia and her team stitch every band, loop and reinforcement onto our tents by hand. It is the last step before the tent leaves the factory.

It is also the step that decides how well the tent holds up in the years that follow.

He has been placing our stretch tents on the islands for years.

We sat him in front of the camera. He talked about service, about the partnership, about the kind of trust that grows slow and stays.
