As a hotel located in the diplomatic heart of The Hague, we regularly have the honour of welcoming ambassadors from around the world during an important milestone in their diplomatic journey.

One of the most special moments is the Presentation of Credentials Ceremony, a longstanding Dutch tradition in which newly appointed ambassadors formally present their credentials to His Majesty King Willem-Alexander at Noordeinde Palace ✨

Last week, we had the privilege of welcoming D.N. Mills, Ambassador of Jamaica, ahead of her official ceremony.

This Easter, we surprised our guests with a special treat: handcrafted chocolate bonbons from local chocolatier De Graaff Chocolaad on the Noordeinde 🍫 ✨

We are proud to collaborate with a local entrepreneur who values quality, sustainability and responsible sourcing. Their chocolate is made with cocoa from Callebaut, fully traceable and sourced through the Cocoa Horizons program, which works directly with farming communities in Ivory Coast, Ghana and Ecuador to improve livelihoods and promote sustainable practices 🌱

We hope our guests enjoyed this sweet moment and had a joyful Easter! 🌷🐣
