Last week, we brought together our guides Kai, Bilal, Mons, chef Henrik and the rest of the BFA crew for a team gathering. When the weather finally decided to play along and the halibut moved into the shallows, spin fishing was really on fire.

Several big fish were landed, with Bilal taking the top spot with an 170 cm halibut on spin tackle.

For those looking to experience shallow-water halibut fishing, oktober is hard to beat.
