Job Description
Job Function; In charge Hotel Receptionist
Purpose:
A Hotel Front Desk Office is a professional who is responsible for welcoming guests, checking guests in and out of the hotel, distributing room keys, dealing with guest queries, processing payments for hotel services, provide prompt and professional guest service to meet guest needs and ensure guest satisfaction. As the first face, Officer should be smartly and neatly dressed always in order to present a good image of the hotel.
Responsibilities:
Welcome and greet guests upon their arrival
Performing all check-in and check-out tasks
Maintain a positive attitude and friendly demeanor
Respond to all guest questions and requests
Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates, and amenities
Manage guest bookings and reservations
Organizing transport services for guests at their request
Register guests by collecting the necessary information
Informing customers about payment methods and verifying their credit card data
Maintain updated records of bookings and payments
Respond to clients’ complaints in a timely and professional manner
Make recommendations for activities and restaurants
Liaise with housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, and tidy to accommodate guests’ needs
Maintain a neat and orderly front desk and reception area
Monitor visitors to the hotel
Enforce rules and policies of the hotel
Assist with administrative and clerical tasks as needed
Complete and maintain any incident reports, and daily activity reports requested by management
