NEPAL IS OPEN & READY TO WELCOME TRAVELLERS
We are deeply saddened by the recent devastating flooding in the Langtang region near the Nepal–Tibet border. The flooding lasted for several hours and was extremely destructive. Lives have been lost, many people are still missing, and rescue and relief operations are continuing. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected.
At the same time, we would like to clarify an important message for travellers:
📍 The flooding was localized to the Langtang region. The rest of Nepal remains safe and open for tourism and trekking.

Lumbini
And major trekking regions including:
Everest
Annapurna
Manaslu
Rolwaling
Other trekking regions across Nepal
remain open for travellers, with the exception of the affected Langtang area.
