NAMASTE!!! "GIRAMONDO" is an Italian word which means "Globe trotter". We chosen this name because it represents us, Susanna and Bharat, a young traveller couple from Italy and Nepal, managing the hotel. Our hotel is located in the centre of Kathmandu, just five minutes walking from the main tourist area, Thamel, with shops, restaurants, markets, bars and pubs. The other attractions (Durbar square
, Swayambhunathor "monkey temple", Royal palace and many others ) are just a walk distance away. Our place is really quiet and we have 10 rooms, perfect for let you feel like at home. We have single, double, and family rooms with fan and own bathroom and triple or dorm rooms with fan and shared bathroom. The hotel has a lounge with flat screen TV and a little library, a nice sun terrace and a rooftop with a nice city view. There is also a small restaurant and a bar-coffee shop, and we cook Nepali and Italian food. Breakfast is included. There is laundry and dry facilities. Free Wifi is available in all the place. We arrange a pick up from/to the airport for a little surcharge. Our hotel is perfect for solo travellers, trekkers, families, backpackers and group of friends from all over the globe.
