Indeshwor Mahadev Temple is one of the main attractions and is an impressive landmark of Panauti village.

It is known as one of the oldest, largest and tallest three-story Mandirs( multi-roofed pagoda style architecture) in Nepal.

The temple was first founded dating to 1294, but the shrine was rebuilt in its present form in the 15th century.

Panauti Jatra also known as ‘Jya:Punhi’ is considered the largest festival in the Kavrepalanchowk district, celebrated in Panauti village right in front of our beautiful boutique guest house.

This Jatra is a fest of mating ritual between Lord Unmata Bhairava and Goddesses Bhadrakali. In this rath yatra, the in*******se analogy between Lord Bhairava and Bhadrakali is depicted and indirectly expressed, so it is customary to do some stages of the rath yatra secretly at night.
