There are plenty of viewpoints along the route. You'll see stunning vistas of the Hauraki Gulf, Waiheke Island, Rangitoto Island and the Coromandel Peninsula.

🚴 The path is mostly concrete, with some small unsealed sections to be aware of.
🚴 The route is well marked and has some slight hills.

🚶🌳🌊 Enjoy the beautiful beach walk from Maraetai Beach to the wharf at Magazine Bay, on Auckland's pōhutukawa coast.
Start your stroll at the western end of Maraetai Beach, at Maraetai Park. Here you'll find a small viewing deck which is a great photo spot. Continue along the coast until you reach picturesque Magazine Bay.
