Today was a bittersweet day 🐴🤎🤍

I took Chief, my retired boy down to my sister's property in the Waikato to graze with his old paddock mate, her retired horse Mako. These two were peas in a pod in their prime!

The hardest part was separating him from his best friend, my Clydie x George. Having a young baby is the best thing in the world, but unfortunately horsey time has taken a back seat.

Knowing he'll be so well loved and cared for makes it so much easier 🥹

First photo is Chief in his new home, and the second is a throwback of the two old boys back in the day
