🎉 A little something different at Riverlands Roadhouse!

Who says a roadhouse can’t be a place for a celebration? 💙

We recently had the pleasure of putting together this lovely spread for a birthday celebration, and it was nice to see our space transformed for a special occasion.

From savoury bites to sweet treats, all prepared with a little extra care.

Planning a small celebration or gathering? Feel free to get in touch - we’d love to help make it special! 🎂

These toasties have been some of our most popular lately. 🥪

We’re always looking for new ideas, though…
If you could add one toastie to our cabinet, what would it be?

We’d love to hear your suggestions! 👇

Most people driving past Riverlands have no idea this place exists just minutes away.

The Wairau Lagoons feel like a completely different world - quiet tracks, still water, wild birdlife and skies that never look the same twice.

And somewhere out there sits the old wreck of the SS Waverley, slowly becoming part of the landscape itself.

Not every stop on the road has to be rushed 😉💙

Little notes like this mean more than you think.

It’s things like this that keep us going.

We’ve also had a few suggestions (like milk for tea 👀), so we’re slowly adding bits and pieces where we can.
