The deluxe room 'Rata" with a tinge of red decor; our largest and best room with stunning views looking towards the Kaikoura mountains.

Our superior rooms 'Koromiko' (with a tinge of purple) and 'Harakeke' (with a tinge of orange) also offer stunning views looking towards the mountains and are also a very good size.

The standard room 'Kowhai' has a touch of yellow and gold. It is our fully accessible room and a very good size. Whilst you might capture a glimpse of the mountains it has a great garden view and gets the early morning sun.

Regardless of the room you book you will be welcomed by your host/s with a smile and a chat. All the rooms offer tea and coffee making facilities, complimentary wifi, heat pumps for year round comfort to keep you warm or cool, smart TVs and luxurious robes and slippers so you can venture to the spa pool which is set at 30 / 40 degrees.

Brrrr its another cold snap but you will be toasty warm inside at Ribbonwood Country House or outside in the bubbly spa pool looking at the snow capped mountains.

Its amazing in the middle of Winter that these beauties decide to flower. There are 5 blooms out at the moment which adds a nice splash of colour on a gloomy day.
