Full Time Cook Position
We are looking for a permanent Full Time Cook to join our team in our popular country hotel restaurant based in the Culverden Township.
4 Split Shifts, daytime (10:30am-3:00pm) and evening (5:00pm – 9-10ish). 35-40 hours per week, working 2 on, 1 off, 2 on, 2 off. 1 permanent weekend day is off, and one on.
Restaurant or café cooking experience is an advantage, but an awesome attitude and a passion for cooking and producing consistent great meals is essential, and full training to the right person will be given.
Duties would include
- Food Preparation
- Cooking as orders come in
- Baking
- Cleaning
- Substitute for or assist other cooks during illness/holidays or rush periods
- Monitor and enforce Food Control Plan
Requirements
- Ability to follow detailed recipes and cooking procedures
- Attention to detail and organised mindset
- Positive attitude and desire to exceed expectations
- Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
- Ability to work in a team
- Very good communication skills
- Creative input for new dishes or improving existing dishes
