The gardens certainly seem to be enjoying the conditions, with everything growing well — keeping Neville on his toes!

🌿 Nicols Falls

Tucked away in the bush of Leith Valley, Nicols Falls is a lovely Dunedin waterfall that feels surprisingly removed from the city.

A short bush walk leads through native greenery to the falls, making it an easy option when you feel like getting outdoors without heading too far afield.

🌸 Spring is showing at the University of Otago 🌸

The blossom trees are putting on their annual display, bringing a welcome splash of spring colour to the University grounds.

One of our favourite signs that the seasons are changing in Dunedin — and a lovely time of year for a wander through the campus. 🌸☀️

🐱 Meet Tilly.

Tilly joined the Bluestone family after being rescued as a tiny 4 week old kitten, and she's grown into our smallest – and perhaps sassiest – team member.

She likes things on her own terms, so don't be offended if she doesn't come over to say hello. Around here, we just call it character.

And here’s the finished result 🌿

A few weeks ago we shared some of the work happening in the garden, and now the transformation is complete.

Removing the old hedging and replacing it with stone has really opened up the area and brightened this part of the driveway.

Quite a change from where we started — and we’re really pleased with how it has turned out!
