Take a closer look at these corners, because someone hand-peeled and fitted every one of those Oregon logs. 🪵

The cabin started life on a log-building course in Geraldine back in 2010. Around 50 logs went into it, and the biggest is 11 metres long and weighs over a tonne. 👀

It’s been sitting in this valley since 2012, and it’s still one of a kind. 🌿

Fill them both, pour a glass of something local, and watch the last of the light turn the hills pink in front of you. 🌿

Maybe you'll finally finish the book that's been in your bag since last summer; maybe you'll give your mind the rest it's been craving all year. ☺️

“Fluffy cloud bed” might be our new favourite way to describe the downstairs room. ☁️

A roaring fire, comfy chairs on the deck, and the outdoor baths as the “crowning jewel” under a sky full of stars. We'll happily take that.

Most people come for the cabin, then realise how much of the Clutha region is right on the doorstep. 🌿

The Catlins are close enough for a day of waterfalls, lighthouses and sea lions on the beach (if they're feeling social), plus so much more. 👀

Spend the day exploring, then come home to a hot bath and a quiet valley. 🌿
