𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗛𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘀 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗣𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗼 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝟯𝗿𝗱 𝗛𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗹 𝗶𝗻 𝗗𝘂𝗻𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗻
We're continuing to expand with the announcement that owner Geoff Thomson has purchased Philip Laing House on Dunedin’s Rattray Street and adjoining properties. The former Government Life Building will be transformed into an elegant 4.5-star, 145-room hotel & conference centre, slated to open in the final quarter of 2028. The new Distinction Central Dunedin Hotel & Conference Centre will be our 3rd property within Dunedin, alongside Distinction Dunedin Hotel and Dunedin Leisure Lodge - A Distinction Hotel.

"A beautiful hotel in the old post office building. Front desk staff were professional and helpful. The room was huge and included a small washer and dryer. Definitely recommend this property in the heart of of the city. Easy walk to the Octagon and other sites".
