Pleased to be having warmer weather so I could trim our Kowhai's and hebes on the bach driveway
These Kowhais are 8 years old and it's been such a delight watching birds munching in there
Waxeyes
Tui
Bellbird
Little red and yellow birds too.. ps I can remember their names !!
Help.me name them please ?

Little bit cloudy at Kowhai Accommodations Duntroon tonight although Venus is bright as and her companion is in the constellation of Virgo
Yippee my birthday month

Here's what we do on our native garden section ..look for stars and planes, birds and bees

Many times with accommodation homes the owners live far away from the actual home
Last night we had a older man stay the night, he messaged to say he wasn't well and asked son to pick him up although he would take over 3 hours to drive here
I immediately went up to the Bach and sat with him, his health escalated into serious and we choose to call the ambulance.
In the Waitaki valley we are very fortunate to have Prime nurses and ambo from Kurow or Oamaru
Our guest was very happy to have had me stay with him and then to be handed over to the professionals

Yesterday Elf and I drove our trusty stead over to Matai nurseries and picked up a few plants for the wetlands, we brought some lovely lemonwood pittos ( Donated by Kowhai Accommodations)
We also want to thank everyone at Matai for their support and knowledge over the years we have popped in to buy plants
Yesterday they made a very generous donation of many many plants for our Duntroon wetlands and I wish to say THANK YOU

Leaping through long grass today to access what plants are thriving and what are DEAD
5 out of 10 are not alive which is a huge disappointment, why are they dead ? Most of the reason is we havnt been w**d releasing
