Wild Canvas Glamping Escapes. Where memories are made and quality time is cherished. Waitomo, New Zealand You will love canopy glamping inside our luxury safari tent.

As a rough guide, it takes about 2.5 hours to drive from Auckland or New Plymouth, 6 hours from Wellington, 2 hours from Tauranga or Taupo. Glamping comes from ‘glamorous’ and ‘camping’. There is glamour of course, but there are still elements of camping. These are often the best parts of the holiday, like sitting under the stars and toasting marshmallows over a fire. Glamping is all about the experience. You’ll enjoy the great outdoors without giving up on any of the luxuries of home.

A night at the Kōwhai Tent. Swipe through to see how your stay could look.

Private hilltop. Twin outdoor baths. Pizza oven. Firepit under the stars. Outdoor movie. And an 11am check-out so there's no rush.

This one's for two: couples, best friends, or anyone who just needs to get away.
