🚨 DON’T BE OFFENDED OR TAKE IT PERSONALLY IF SOMEONE SAYS NO TO SLEEPOVERS 🚨

Yesterday I was asked a question from a follower about whether or not we will let our kids have sleepovers. My inbox absolutely blew up! I immediately lost a lot of followers who obviously have a different view to me, but hopefully they still see this pop up in their reels…

My inbox was full of Mums who are choosing not to let their kids have sleepovers but there was a significant difference in some of the messages. Half were all “I won’t apologize or explain my rule. It’s a hard no” and the other half were looking for advice on how to explain to family and friends that they aren’t comfortable with sleepovers. They were worried about offending people or thinking it would be a hard conversation. So for the latter, I’m making this reel to simply say…

No matter your stance on sleepovers for your own kids PLEASE do not be offended if anyone says “we don’t do sleepovers”. Don’t ask them to elaborate. Don’t take it personally and think there’s something wrong with you or your hubby or your kids or your house.
