Every guest leaves with a different story, and this is one from the Engelsman family:

"Our hunting trip to New Zealand was an adventure of a lifetime! The country is absolutely beautiful, with incredible mountains and amazing views everywhere you look. Will was lucky enough to shoot a beautiful stag, a ram, a fallow buck, and a goat. Every hunt was exciting, and the guides worked hard to give us an unforgettable experience. My grandpa also had an amazing trip and shot an elk. But the highlight of the entire trip was watching Grandma shoot her goat. The guides were professional, the accommodations were excellent, and every day brought a new adventure. We made memories that will last a lifetime, and I can't recommend this trip enough. If you're thinking about hunting in New Zealand, don't hesitate, you won't regret it."

No two mornings at the lodge look the same from the deck with Kaikoura putting on a show with views like no other, and we count ourselves pretty lucky to be sitting in the middle of it!

You look one way, and there’s a stunning coast line, you look the other, and you have towering mountains! We almost have to pinch ourselves everyday to make sure it’s real.

When you're here, what's ours is yours.

Our team guiding you up the ranges are the same people caring for the land, filling the game freezer, prepping the lodge, and pouring your w**e at dinner.

We don't think of you as a name on an itinerary; you're our house guest, like the friends we only get to see once a year. So come in, have a drink and laugh, and then let's get out there and do it together.

We're really proud of our lodge, it's a slice of our paradise that you get to call home while you're with us.

There's so much more happening here than what makes it onto the trophy wall. There's fresh crayfish off the Kaikōura coast, a toasty fire going most nights, a table where everyone's got a story to tell, whether you've been out hunting or had a day relaxing in paradise with a spa.

Moments like these are what we've always loved most about this place, and we hope you get to share that love too.

We've given ourselves a fresh coat of paint, so if you've hunted with us before, this one's for you.

We may have a new look and a new website, but we still have the same team. We're also still in the same stunning Kaikōura ranges, you'll still experience the same coastal view, and it's still the same place you've grown to love coming back to, year after year.
