Orana Motor Inn Where hospitality meets affordable range – you will find us there... Scrumptious food, friendly staff, and comfortable rooms.

Take a nice dip in our refreshing swimming pool or have a cool beer after a tiring work shift. Our restaurant is open Monday to Saturday, from 18:00 to 20:30, with the last call for orders at 20:00, closed Sundays and public holidays. Our hotel is not pet friendly nor can we book long-staying guests or emergency housing, with reception hours from 07:00 to 21:00 Monday to Saturday and 08:00 to 17:00 Sunday or public holidays. Room check-in is from 14:00 onwards, with check-out at 10:00. If you would like to book a room, table or just have an inquiry for us, please call (09) 408 1510 or our freephone 0800 267 262. We are located at 238 Commerce Street, Kaitaia, directly opposite KFC.

Dedicating this post to an absolutely wonderful Head Housekeeper who will be leaving us today.
JonJon, you've been with us for such a long time that it's hard to believe today is your last day of working with us.
We appreciate everything you did for us and all the things you've had to put up with over the years.
Thank you very much for everything - we hope you enjoy the rest of your years surrounded by your mokopuna, creating essential memories with all your loved ones.

We bid farewell to an incredible young woman!
We are sad to see you go but happy to know that wherever you go and whatever you do, you will put 100% into absolutely everything, because that is the kind of person you are.
Thank you for all your years of service and making us smile on every shift.
We will miss having our kitchen jukebox on hand to brighten our nights.

Kia ora Whanau! Our restaurant will be closing over the holidays so try and get in quick for your last dinner bookings of the year!
We're already getting pretty packed with the company buffets so the faster you contact us, the better.

Tonight we say bon voyage to a beautiful soul! Thank you for working with us for three years, Manaia, we wish you the best of luck in all your future endeavours.
We hope you have a wonderful time in Auckland and we will see you again when you start to get the cravings for a nice, rare steak and a camembert cheese.

RESTAURANT CLOSED 20-30/06/2025.
Kia ora Whanau! Due to unforseen circumstances, our restaurant will be closed from Matariki Friday 20th to Monday 30th June 2025.
We will be back open again on Tuesday 1st July, so please call us to make your bookings before we run out of openings!
I am not at liberty to say why we are closing down for this period of time as it is a personal family matter but we appreciate your understanding and look forward to hearing from you all!

We have a buffet on Saturday night and still need a few more people to fill up our tables!

Adults are $49.50 each, children from 6 to 15 are double their age (so if they're 10 years old, their meal would cost $20.00) and children aged 5 and under are free.

Kia ora whanau!

A beautiful tabby gave birth on our premises a few weeks back and we have been diligently taking care of them until they're old enough to adopt out.
Our two black kittens have loving homes but we are now looking for furever homes for our girls.
The tabby on the left is slightly smaller than her sister but just as rambunctious.
If anyone is interested in one or both of these sweethearts, please let us know!

15/12 UPDATE: Thank you all for your support! Our smaller tabby has now been adopted and our other tabby may be adopted out soon. I've had so many calls today regarding them and only a few able to come in to see them. If our bigger tabby gets adopted, I will let you all know but thank you all so much for your help in finding them homes! 💜💜
