The Okoro Treehouse is a private retreat for two, perched amongst native kānuka trees with expansive views across the valley to the sea.

A super king bed. A private ensuite. A generous outdoor deck. In Treehouse dining should one wish. One may never leave.

The Treehouse is available for individual stays with the full Okoro experience, including gourmet cuisine, and access to all of Okoro's stunning amenities.

Spring is beginning to stir at Okoro.

High above Tasman Bay, the landscape begins its seasonal transformation, the native bush awakening, longer evenings arriving and the first signs of a new season across the estate.

After our seasonal hiatus the gates reopen in October... design, nature and the exceptional warmth of Kiwi hospitality.

We’re proud to share a milestone that reflects who we are and what we value:
Okoro is officially carbon positive by 448,678 kg (448 tonnes) for the year ending 2025.

In simple terms, this means we’ve removed more carbon from the atmosphere than we have produced—giving back to the landscapes, people and precious ecosystems that make this place so special.

A native tree is planted for every guest stay . The expansive estate of regenerating native bush with a pest eradication programme is experiencing a resurgence of birds and wildlife. Carefully formed private trails take guests on a journey through nature and spectacular scenery.
