Meet Georgina! One of our brilliant front office staff members! Let’s get to know her a little 🙌🏻

🌏Tell us a little about yourself and how you ended up at Novotel..."I’m originally from Papua New Guinea. I first joined Novotel in the Housekeeping team before moving to another company. But, I found my way back to Novotel this time joining the Front Office team as a GSA!"

🛎️ What’s your favourite thing about working in Front Office...Definitely the amazing team I get to work with and meeting so many different guests from all over the place!

☀️ Morning shift or afternoon shift...I’m definitely NOT an early bird 😂 but I do enjoy the morning shifts!

💃 What song will always get you on the dance floor...I don’t have a particular dance song… just give me a good pop song and I’m ready to go!

✈️ If you could jump on a plane tomorrow, where are you going...Japan or Korea! Mainly for the food experience… priorities, right?

🌟 If you weren’t working in hospitality, what would you be doing...I’d probably be a flight attendant or working in the tourism industry.

🌿 Favourite place in Taranaki to recommend to a guest...Not necessarily my favourite, but somewhere I think is really amazing is Tūpare Gardens. It’s definitely worth a visit! 🌸

💬 And finally…why should everyone come and say hi to Georgina at Front Office?
Because I love a good chat when I’ve got some free time, it could be about absolutely anything!

A familiar face, stepping into a new role! 👋

We're excited to officially welcome Korteney to our Head of Department team as our Executive Housekeeper!

Having been part of the Novotel family since 2023, Korteney brings over 12 years of housekeeping experience, a genuine passion for people and a whole lot of team spirit.

For Korteney, it's all about the people. From watching her team grow and thrive to creating those little touches that make our guests feel at home, she takes pride in everything her department delivers.

Outside of work, you'll find her enjoying family time, fishing, skateboarding or even fire spinning! 🔥

Last month, our Business Development Manager, Josh, recently joined the KiwiNorth NZ contingent on Australia’s eastern seaboard, alongside Venture Taranaki, connecting with more than 700 travel sellers across Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

For us, this was about more than showcasing Novotel Ngāmotu. It was about championing Taranaki as a destination and making sure our region has a strong voice when people are deciding where their New Zealand journeys will take them.
