Omarama is the gateway to Mt Cook to the north and Queenstown to the south via the spectacular Lindis Pass, with the Waitaki Valley and its beautiful lakes to the East.

Have you ever taken notice of the question in our departure survey email saying: ‘Improvements to enhance future experience’?

Well believe it or not, we actually read that feedback. Some suggestions like ‘move the park away from the road’ are completely unattainable, but others we take on board and action if possible.

This is a prime example. One camper spoke, and we listened. We’ve now connected the concrete path around the summer bathroom block to the dump station area to make emptying your cassettes easier 🙂 Better camping everyone!

COMPETITION TIME: Our annual Omarama TOP 10 fishing competition is underway! Running from Labour Weekend through to Easter, if you catch a fish whilst staying with us, bring it to reception to be weighed (before you gut it) and you’re in with a chance to win epic prizes and bragging rights of course! So grab your lucky rod, it’s time to reel in that big one! 🎣

🐣 Some exciting new arrivals at Omarama TOP 10!

Our resident paradise ducks have welcomed a whole lot of little fluffballs to the family! 🦆💛

We’ve counted 13… maybe 14 ducklings (they’re not exactly making it easy to keep track! 😂).

There’s something pretty special about seeing new life arrive here in the park, and we think these little cuties are going to be a favourite sight for our guests.

Keep your eyes peeled if you’re visiting — you might just spot our newest little residents waddling around with Mum and Dad! 🌿🐥

Since things are a bit more quiet this weekend, we have decided to welcome your furry friends to join you for the long weekend!

The weather forecast for Omarama is looking beautiful and sunny, hitting highs of 18°C–21°C—perfect for a getaway!

To ensure everyone has a safe and comfortable stay, please keep these important guidelines in mind:

• 🐕 Keep on Leads: All pets must remain on a lead at all times while on the grounds.
• 💩 Clean Up: Please clean up after your pets immediately.
• 🚫 No Roofed Accommodation: Pets are not permitted inside any of our roofed accommodation units.
• 🚫 No Shared Facilities: Pets are not allowed inside communal or shared facility areas.
