An incredibly beautiful place. Without knowing any others in the area, I have no doubt that this is the best place to stay. I would return every time I'm in the area. Ross is a sweetheart, and the place exudes comfort and warmth. You can see the thoughtful touches he puts on for his guests in every corner. And the kitchen-dining area is spacious and cozy, inviting you to share meals in a relaxed and homey atmosphere. All the comforts of home are there, including a warm shower and a perfect location.
I only stayed one night because I have to continue my trip, but thank you, Ross. If I could have, it would be a place where I would stay longer.

During a bikepacking trip through New Zealand, I had a long day on the bike and was looking for a place to pitch my tent near Palmerston North.

I called Ross' Campsite and asked whether they had space and if it would be okay to arrive around 9 PM. No problem was the answer.

When I arrived, I received a very warm welcome. The campsite was clean, peaceful, and very reasonably priced. It had everything I needed, including a kitchen, a common area, a shower, and a toilet.

A great farm campsite and a place I would happily stay at again.

Excellent farm campsite, very well equipped. Hot showers and very clean toilets. It's by far the cleanest campsite I've seen since the start of my road trip. The owners are very friendly and their dog is adorable. I highly recommend it.
