This month, we celebrate Pink October in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness.

has launched Move & Care, a campaign encouraging movement and wellness this Pink October, which in turn supports prevention and breast-health awareness.

At Hotel St Moritz, we will be celebrating by hosting a ‘Pink Weekend’.

• Thursday 29th October - The weekend kicks off with our annual cocktail fundraiser, ‘Party for your Pretties’ in support of Breast Cancer Foundation NZ.

• Saturday 31st October- We’re focusing on movement with our ‘Pose for your Pretties’ guided yoga session in Hotel St Moritz’s walled garden.

• Sunday 1st November - Our ‘Pink Weekend’ come to a close, with a community cold plunge in Lake Wakatipu, inspired by the bravery of those facing Breast Cancer related challenges.

A change of season always brings something new to the table at Lombardi.

Our spring menu takes its cues from warmer days and longer evenings, with new dishes joining familiar favourites and plenty of reason to settle in for another course.

A highlight this season: Lombardi Gnocchi with oyster mushroom, crown pumpkin, pecorino Romano & toasted almonds.

This month, during MGallery Heritage Days, we celebrate the rich history of Hotel St Moritz and the distinct features that make us unique and memorable.

Take our lady in the black coat, for example - the lithograph placed at the bottom of the stairs in the lobby. She has welcomed every guest who has walked through our doors since the hotel first opened as a Novotel Suites back in 1998.

But our physical features are only one part of the story. It's the characters - our guests, our team, our regulars - who bring St Moritz to life. This is a place where life's milestones happen and stories unfold: proposals, marriages, anniversaries, birthdays. And just as often, we've been a place of sanctuary and comfort for those navigating some of life's more challenging times.

Take a glimpse back through the archives. These photographs transport us to an earlier chapter of Hotel St Moritz - familiar in some ways, almost unrecognisable in others.
