Famed for our Custard Squares, Pod Cabins, family friendly farm animals, maze and bouncy castle 😀 Our aim is to continue to build on what great foundations Flat Hills has to provide the best rest stop for families and large groups of people. We are firm believers in happy children=happy parents which is why we have introduced new animals to the farm yard, enlarged the children's play area and put in a bouncy castle. Lots of furniture inside and out to provide a more comfortable stop and continually striving to provide great food at reasonable prices-we are not just your regular roadside café...

We have had a big run of birthday parties through August and September already, it has been great to see so many families and their friends enjoying Flat Hills.

When Jack and I took over as managers, connecting people with animals and outdoor fun was something we were most excited about! Then when we receive feedback from party people, it makes it all the more worthwhile!

"I just wanted to say thank you for having us on Saturday. The kids had an awesome time. Your guys service was amazing. Will definitely be recommending Flat Hills for birthday parties 😄"

Located right on SH1 at Ōhingaiti, Flat Hills is the perfect place to stop for the day; or even better, stay a few nights and make a little holiday of it.

Bring the caravan, campervan or tent and enjoy our campground, or book one of our cosy accommodation pods. We have everything you need for an easy family stay, with communal kitchen and bathroom facilities, plenty of space and lots for the kids to explore. We have also recently opened our self-contained cottage up for booking too!

🐐 Meet the animals
Come and say hello to our alpacas, llamas, goats, sheep, ponies, pigs, cows, rabbits, chickens and more! There are always plenty of furry and feathered faces waiting to meet you.

🛝 Let the kids burn off some energy
With our maze, playgrounds, bouncy castle, lawn games and wide-open spaces, there’s plenty to keep the kids entertained.

It is DONE 👏🫶❤️

It's been something we wanted to do ever since we took over as managers, getting a new logo! A very hard process I've discovered trying to nail down each individual detail! We are now so proud to present a new Flat Hills logo! 

We are also set to become a Top 10 member benefit, so love that our colour scheme fits in with this offering. 

In the future we are also going to repaint the windmill to mirror our logo. 

Keep an eye out on the roadside over the next few months too, as we will have new signage going up!
