“I don’t normally leave reviews but Aura is deserving of praise. What an adorable little hotel with a community atmosphere.

“The check-in area is packed with cute hand-drawn information about what to do in the area, staff recommendations, and even an updated daily weather board.

“Beautiful location right on the lake with Eat Street two blocks away so plenty of options for dinner and breakfast.

“Our room was comfortable, with the geo-thermal radiator keeping us warm when we visited in July. Given the natural smells of this geologically active town, you wouldn’t think the tap water would be good, but it was delicious, as advertised.

“Staff were friendly and greeted us the morning after we checked in to make sure check-in went smoothly.

“A great place to stay that seems very 'local' and connected to the city around it.”

“We had a great stay at Aura! The grounds were amazing for kids with a pool, trampoline, and a great park close by. The staff were very helpful in suggesting things to see and do and places to eat. “The location is perfect, just across from the lake and close to many restaurants. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Big added bonus, there's a heated pool and 2 thermal baths on site. I would definitely stay here again.”
