We are experiencing some beautiful winter days here in Taupo this week. The days start off misty and you cannot even see the lake until the sun starts to burst through when you can see Mt Tauhara and the Kaimanawa ranges against a stunning blue sky ☀️☀️.

Take a moment to look at our autumn flowers, handy when our roses are in between flourishes. We like to share a bit of colour with our guests by popping fresh flowers from the garden in their suite on arrival. We also have had a bumper year for our geraniums which have bloomed later than usual and add so much oomph to the garden too. If you are wondering what the purple flower is one of our guests recently told us it was called Princess Flower, a species of Glory trees and also known as Glory bush 🌹🌷🌾🌿🌸
