Informative guides, a walk through the kiwi house and national arts school, spectacular thermal area particularly under the colored night lights ( sitting on hot rocks sipping hot chocolate ☕️😋, delicious meal (kai) and wonderful cultural performance.

In 2016 when we started hosting ( and wondered if we'd be lucky enough to get some bookings for school holiday periods 😅) never did we anticipate just how much we'd love this gig, how many amazing people we'd meet along the way, both fellow hosts and wonderful guests and just how many people would enjoy the cottage like we do.

Today we start our fourth guest book! It's still one of my favourite things, to read and see guests lovely notes, illustrations and feedback.

Lazy Sunday lunch at
- awesome friendly service, great pizza and coffee ( the Rusty special) in a warm , vibrant space.

Looking forward to heading back to sample more of their extensive menu 😋. The kids menu looks pretty damn good too!

Have you visited "Rocko" the rock snake?

He lives at the Redwoods on the Mokopuna Track. Every time I walk here I can't believe how much longer he's grown!
