Waiau Tavern has now opened in the car park of its big sister The Waiau Lodge Hotel due to the earthquakes Since the November 14th earthquakes the hotel has been red stickered and cordoned off, and out of the shadows come Waiau Tavern,situated in the car park of the hotel..

As some of you know, this Monday is the 7 year Anniversary for the Waiau Tavern May 20th 2017.
Also we bow to the Waiau Lodge Hotel, The Grand Lady, as it is also her Anniversary of the fire on the 21st, for which we dont celebrate, but will always remember.
Quite an emotional time of the year, and we want to extend our hearts to you on Sunday. We are not putting anything special on, but do come down and celebrate the baby brothers Anniversary by supporting your local kick ass Waiau Tavern Pool Team as there will be eats out on the table for all. It is in honour of the Hotel as well. A real family affair!
