We have a saltwater pool (summer) and spa available for guests. Waihi is central to many areas such as the Coromandel, Bay of Plenty and Waikato. These areas are within 45-90 minutes drive making Palm Motel Waihi the ideal base for accommodation.You will find large outdoor areas to play or BBQ, parking outside your room and extra storage with areas to park trailers, bikes etc. A fenced swimming pool is available and play equipment for the children. The Martha Mine is breathtaking in it's size and you can learn about the Goldmining history of the town by visiting the Newmont Discovery Centre and /or take a tour to find out more about how gold is brought up from the earth.
