🍌🍌 Hey locals - we have an exciting new addition to our gate stall! - BANANAS! Locally grown following organic principles and freshly harvested. We can confirm that they are totally delicious! So if you're nearby Owhiwa Road, we recommend having some cash in your car so you can pick up a bunch or two, theyre also a great price! 😋
The lemons and grapefruit are still going strong, pay what you like for the citrus, but please leave the asking price for the bananas so our lovely neighbour's from Mt Tiger Road get a small return for all their hard work 💚

Just a little collection of scenes captured in our native bush valley - isn't nature just incredible?! When we can slow down and notice the intricate details of life thriving around us, it can be astounding and disarming 🤍

🍋🍊🌞 ALL the citrus on this glorious winter's day 🙌 It seems the conditions have been just perfect for our citrus trees that greet you as you arrive at the Orchard Cottage, the trees are laden!
It's time to share so we have our little gate stall stocked up and invite locals and passers by to take what you need and pay as you feel 💛
We have a good selection of small batch preserves available on request too. New to the range this year is a zesty whole orange chutney which is a total winner and will likely be on repeat. Also a lime and vanilla marmalade - the sweet vanilla tempers the zingy limes and I'm sure it will be just as popular as our best-selling orange and vanilla marmalade.
Hope this adds a little sunshine to your Sunday afternoon, wherever you are.

Winter delight ⛅️ We've been busy with garden maintenance and making a few new spaces around the Orchard Cottage but it's time to put the tools down for a bit so guests can enjoy stays over Matariki and beyond.
Some nights are still available in July but take your pick in August. A little getaway in nature could be just the medicine 🌳
