Sometimes history finds its way back home.
In the 1960s, the owner’s father created colorful postcards of Tahiti and its islands. Over the years, these little pieces of paradise travelled the world.
After searching through several flea markets and antique shops, we managed to track down around sixty of these postcards; all of them written, stamped, and sent decades ago.
Each card carries a message, a memory, a moment from another era of island life.
They are now framed and displayed at the reception of Moorea Island Beach Hotel; a small collection of stories that made their way back to the island.
