After two months of talking with the people in charge in Anda Poblacion about the disaster route construction, nothing has changed — only money wasted.

In front of our place, water now reaches up to 40 cm deep. Guests can’t or don’t want to enter, standing in dirty floodwater. I’ve sent photos and asked for help four times, but no action — just promises that the company will fix it “soon.”

It’s a shame, especially for a town that promotes itself as “The Pearl of Bohol.” The surroundings are a mess, and the loud karaoke every night drives tourists away.

This is no longer the Anda Beach we once loved. We need real regulation and care — like the top tourist spots in Bohol.

After ten years of hoping for improvement, I still believe change is possible. Hope is the last thing that dies
