A recent incident was brought to our attention involving a representative of an events coordinator who provided a client with a payment QR code bearing the name “Red Barn Davao.” Upon verification, the receiving account was found to be the representative's personal bank account and not an official account of Red Barn Davao.
We recognize and respect the role of event coordinators in making the booking process more convenient for their clients. We also understand that coordinators may charge additional fees for their services. Our concern is not with these additional charges, but with the misrepresentation of a personal bank account as an official Red Barn Davao payment channel.
To avoid confusion and protect our clients, please be guided by the following:
1. VERIFY OUR PUBLISHED RATES
Our official venue rates are available on our website. Any additional coordination or service fees should be clearly distinguished from our published rates.
