SM Seaside Cebu Arena Ready to Host BINI Concert on July 11; Heavy Traffic Expected

The SM Seaside Cebu Arena is set to welcome thousands of fans on July 11 as Filipino girl group BINI headlines one of the first major events at Cebu's newest world-class entertainment venue.

The concert is expected to draw a large crowd of "Blooms," BINI's official fan base, marking a significant milestone for the newly opened arena.

The SM Seaside Cebu Arena has a seating capacity of approximately 16,000, with the venue capable of accommodating up to 25,000 attendees for select event configurations, making it one of the largest indoor event venues in the Visayas.

With thousands of concertgoers expected to travel to the venue, motorists are advised to anticipate heavy traffic along the South Road Properties (SRP) and nearby roads before and after the concert.

To prepare for the influx of visitors, the Cebu City Government, together with concerned agencies, has conducted traffic simulations and implemented traffic management measures to help ease congestion around the arena.

Authorities are encouraging the public to:
👉Leave early to avoid delays.
👉Consider carpooling or using ride-hailing and public transportation whenever possible.
👉Follow traffic advisories and the directions of traffic enforcers

Motorists and concertgoers are urged to plan their trips accordingly to ensure a safe and smooth travel experience during the event.

The BINI concert is among the first large-scale entertainment events to be staged at the SM Seaside Cebu Arena, further positioning Cebu as a growing destination for world-class concerts and live entertainment in the Visayas.
