Reveche Farm Resort is aware of the recent noise complaint circulating on social media and believes it is important to clarify the facts.
Prior to the event, the organizers coordinated with our management. As we do for every event hosted at the resort, we clearly informed them that our policy requires all loud music and amplified sound to end by 10:00 PM. This policy is consistently implemented for all guests and events.
The event in question was a victory celebration for another barangay.
Before the event proceeded beyond our standard curfew, the organizers informed us that they had obtained authorization from the appropriate official of our barangay to extend the program. Relying on that representation, we understood that the necessary approval had been secured from the proper local authority.
For the avoidance of doubt, Reveche Farm Resort has no authority to grant exemptions to barangay regulations or extend curfew hours beyond our established policy. Such approvals, when applicable, can only come from the appropriate government authorities and are the sole responsibility of the event organizers to obtain.
We therefore respectfully clarify that the resort did not independently authorize the extension of the event. Any implication that Reveche Farm Resort deliberately disregarded the curfew or acted without proper coordination is inaccurate. We acted in good faith based on the information and authorization presented to us by the organizers.
We understand and respect the concerns of nearby residents, and we remain committed to being a responsible member of the community. Going forward, we will continue to strictly enforce our policies and will require any future requests for exemptions to be supported by clear and verifiable authorization from the appropriate authorities before any consideration is given.
We appreciate everyone’s understanding and trust that this statement provides the necessary clarification regarding the circumstances surrounding the event.
