What Jon spotted today is a classic example of leaf mimicry—a specialized type of camouflage where insects evolve to look exactly like the foliage they live on to hide from predators. These creatures are strict vegetarians. They don't bite, sting, or carry diseases, so they pose zero threat.

I spent the afternoon clearing away some weeds in the garden and found some bees simply gathering pollen and nectar. Bees are indeed magnificent, vital creatures that hold our ecosystems together.

I congratulated myself on successfully replacing the pool pump motor and getting the pool water sparkling clean! Fixing a leaking and noisy pump is a big project but i managed to fixed the problem somehow. Of course i learned a lot from watching YouTube videos on how to replace Hayward pool motor pump. I saved money and learned a new skill and im so proud. I ordered all original parts from Aquatex and Swimming Pool Republic Trading. Working with pool equipment takes patience and care and im so glad i had a lot of patience. Job very well done! Nothing beats clean pool and sparkling water.
Thanks to Jon for the extra hand especially with the bolts. All bolts must be tightened. I can never do the tightening myself.
