ATTENTION VALENCIANONS!!!

We want to inform all Valencianons that our local government is strictly enforcing Republic Act 9003, also known as the Ecological Solid Waste Management Act. This law requires all of us to properly manage our trash—whether it is from our homes, schools, public markets, stores, or offices.

What do we need to do?

Proper waste management starts right at the source: at home or at work. We must sort our garbage into four separate categories before throwing it out:
•Biodegradable (Malata) – 𝙁𝙤𝙤𝙙 𝙨𝙘𝙧𝙖𝙥𝙨, 𝙜𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙚𝙣 𝙬𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙚, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙤𝙧𝙜𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙘 𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧.
•Non-biodegradable (Dili malata) – 𝙍𝙚𝙘𝙮𝙘𝙡𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙢𝙨 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙨, 𝙥𝙖𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙨, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙘𝙖𝙣𝙨.
•Residual – 𝙒𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙘𝙖𝙣𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙗𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙮𝙘𝙡𝙚𝙙 𝙤𝙧 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙖𝙣𝙮𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙚.
•Special Waste – 𝙃𝙖𝙯𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙤𝙪𝙨 𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙨𝙚𝙝𝙤𝙡𝙙 𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙢𝙨 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙗𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙨, 𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙗𝙪𝙡𝙗𝙨, 𝙤𝙧 𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙘𝙨.

While our municipal and barangay governments are responsible for collecting, transporting, and safely disposing of residual waste, we must do our part first.

Remember: 𝗡𝗼 𝗦𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗡𝗼 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻!

Because the law is being strictly enforced, garbage trucks will only collect trash that has already been properly sorted. If your garbage is mixed together, it might be left behind. As members of this community, sorting our waste is a shared responsibility.

Our local government is dedicated to doing its duty, and we are doing this to ensure a clean, sustainable environment for all Valencianons today and for the future.

Let's keep Valencia CHADA!
Following the law shows who we truly are—law-abiding citizens who take great pride in our community. By doing your part through this simple act, you are helping keep Valencia CHADA: a place where the environment is clean and safe, and where everyone lives a healthy and peaceful life.

Thank you for your cooperation!
