FORMAL STATEMENT AND DEMAND
FOR IMMEDIATE RESOLUTION

Al Hyatt Mu'assasah Inc. formally calls upon i-Franchise Business Services Corporation (iFuel) to immediately resolve the long-overdue obligations arising from the Franchise Agreement executed on 15 June 2021 between iFuel, represented by its President, Ms. Krizia Ann Loyang, and Al Hyatt Mu'assasah Inc., represented by Ms. Shaikha Hamza Hassan.
Since 2021, Al Hyatt has paid iFuel a total of ₱9,502,005.65, inclusive of additional funding requested by iFuel during the course of the project. In addition, Al Hyatt has incurred approximately ₱500,000 for permits and regulatory requirements that were represented to be within iFuel's scope of responsibility, as well as approximately ₱4,000,000 in additional project-related expenditures necessary to keep the project moving forward.
Despite these substantial investments and our continuous cooperation over the past several years, the project remains largely incomplete. Construction has been idle since March 2023, multiple contractors have reportedly encountered delays due to unpaid progress billings, and promised engineering plans, deliverables, and subsequent commitments have remained unfulfilled.
In early 2026, Shaikha Hamza Hassan of Al Hyatt Mu’assasah Inc. met with Ms. Krizia Ann Loyang in Dubai in a sincere effort to amicably resolve the matter. Out of good faith and consideration, Ms. Krizia presented several options that would allow the project to move forward despite the prolonged delays. During these discussions, both parties explored replacing the originally contracted Two-Island iFuel Gas Station Franchise with two (2) Micro Gas Dispensers.
iFuel proposed to refund ₱845,000 to Al Hyatt so that Al Hyatt could independently complete the remaining construction works instead of engaging another contractor through iFuel. After careful evaluation, Al Hyatt respectfully declined this proposal, as the amount offered did not reasonably reflect the substantial franchise payments already made, the significant additional expenses incurred, and the remaining contractual obligations that had yet to be be fulfilled.
In response, Al Hyatt Mu’assasah Inc. is willing to accept the two (2) Micro Gas Dispensers, provided that iFuel also refund at least fifty percent (50%) of the franchise payments previously made by Al Hyatt Mu'assasah Inc., considering that the original contracted project would no longer be delivered as agreed. To date, Al Hyatt has received no response to this. Likewise, despite repeated follow-ups, iFuel has not provided any meaningful update regarding the implementation of the project.
Based on the current status of the project, only minimal portions of the contracted scope have been accomplished, including limited civil works, while the principal equipment, mechanical works, and other major deliverables remain outstanding.
This project was established using funds entrusted to Al Hyatt by donors for the purpose of creating a sustainable source of income for our humanitarian and charitable programs. The prolonged delays, repeated unfulfilled commitments, and lack of communication have caused significant financial loss and have adversely affected the charitable objectives for which these funds were intended.
Accordingly, Al Hyatt Mu'assasah Inc. hereby formally demands that iFuel provide, within five (5) calendar days from receipt of this statement:
1. A written explanation regarding the current status of the project;
2. A definitive and binding resolution, including a clear implementation schedule;
3. Immediate compliance with all outstanding commitments or a mutually acceptable settlement of the parties' obligations; or
4. A comprehensive proposal for the full and final resolution of this matter.
Should iFuel fail to respond or take concrete action within the period stated above, Al Hyatt Mu'assasah Inc. reserves all rights and remedies available under the Franchise Agreement and applicable Philippine laws, including the pursuit of appropriate legal proceedings to protect its interests and recover all damages to which it may be entitled.
Al Hyatt remains willing to resolve this matter professionally, amicably, and in good faith. However, after more than five years of delays, repeated accommodations, and numerous unfulfilled commitments, we can no longer allow this matter to remain unresolved.
