"Irving Chernev once said, 'Every chess master was once a beginner.'
Recently, I stumbled upon a few chess sets that I've owned for as long as 40 years. One set, in particular, holds a lot of memories for me. It's small and easy to travel with, so it's been on many adventures with me. Although the chess pieces aren't that special, they hold a lot of sentimental value, and I can't help but smile when I look at them. This week, I gave the board a good clean and wax and it inspired me to resort to another set.
