SONORA was created to initiate dialogue and engagement between different environments, cultures and generations. It permits the realization of ambitious projects containing the highest possible artistic values, as well as the creation and promotion of innovative musical phenomena. Finally, SONORA allows us to achieve our aspirations – the things we believe in and love.

💥 Over the past weeks, Magdalene Ho has performed across Asia, with concerts in Shanghai 🇨🇳, Singapore 🇸🇬, Kuala Lumpur 🇲🇾 and Tokyo 🇯🇵.

Today, she begins a new chapter with the first concert of her Australian tour in Perth, alongside violinist Gary Levinson.

We wish Magdalene and Gary a wonderful tour and look forward to sharing highlights from Australia! 🇦🇺🎹

Together, they will perform in eight cities, bringing a programme of chamber music to audiences across the country:

Tonight, José Gallardo takes the stage at the Festival Pablo Casals de Prades, joining acclaimed violinist Alexandra Soumm and cellist Michiaki Ueno for an evening of chamber music at the historic Abbaye Saint-Michel de Cuxa.

The programme brings together three masterpieces for piano trio:

🎙️ We are delighted to share that Elżbieta Sikora's opera Dorian Gray has been nominated for the 2027 Musical Composition Prize of the Fondation Prince Pierre de Monaco!

✨ Premiered at the Teatr Wielki im. Stanisława Moniuszki in Poznań to a libretto by Sir David Pountney, Dorian Gray is the composer's latest operatic work, inspired by Oscar Wilde's timeless novel. In this opera, Elżbieta Sikora places the human voice at the heart of the musical narrative, creating a rich sound world where lyrical beauty meets dramatic intensity. Inspired by themes of artistic freedom, beauty, identity and responsibility, Dorian Gray continues the composer's lifelong exploration of the human condition through music.

🎹 After a busy summer of performances across Europe and Asia, Magdalene Ho makes her recital debut in Tokyo.

Last Sunday, Magdalene Ho performed at the Shanghai MISA Festival 🇨🇳 with the Atlas Ensemble under KaJeng Wong (see photos by Xiaoshan Huang) and already tonight, she marks her solo debut at the Victoria Theatre and Concert Hall Singapore 🇸🇬, in a concert promoted by Sinfonia Music Studio.
