Next month Fraser Lindsay Tom Longhurst Rob Smith Guy Johnson and Stephan Sweeney take on a great adventure to cycle 400km from Fes to Tangiers carrying all their gear to raise funds for Rainbow Fund for South Africa

Chantelle’s parents Denise Wyatt and Hans Kortekaas are the trustees of this charity, having stepped in some years ago when it looked like it would have to shut down. They work tirelessly in their 80s and 90s to keep the school going. Donating to this cause not only helps the school and the 200 children it supports but it lightens the load for my parents too. Next month five fearless friends are cycling 400km from Fes to Tangier in Morocco, carrying everything they need, to raise money for the Rainbow Fund for South Africa.

With just the power of their legs to carry them through they are hoping to raise £2500 for the school.

Thinking of hosting a retreat in the Algarve in 2027?

Our remaining retreat dates at Quinta Bonita are now limited, with just three opportunities left to bring your retreat to life with us:

21–28 March — minimum 5 nights
20–24 April — 4 nights
25 October–1 November — minimum 5 nights

Sleeping up to 20 guests, Quinta Bonita offers a beautiful and private setting for retreats of all kinds, with expansive gardens, a swimming pool, indoor and outdoor spaces for classes and workshops, a massage cabin, hot tub and sauna.

With incredible beaches, coastal hikes and adventures close by, there is plenty of opportunity to combine time at the Quinta with unforgettable Algarve experiences.

Every retreat is supported by our deeply personalised service, from nourishing meals and private chefs to wellness treatments, activities and bespoke local experiences, allowing you to focus on your guests while we take care of the details.
