One of the things that excites us most about Amara is the people who are already joining and bringing their expertise, experience, networks and unique perspectives.

Within the community, we already have people working at the United Nations, tech entrepreneurs, scientists, artists, educators, investors, health practitioners and community builders from all over the world.

The coworking space is not just a place to work. It’s a place to learn from one another, exchange ideas and build meaningful collaborations.

• Connect with entrepreneurs, thinkers and changemakers from around the world

• Learn from leaders in conscious business, impact and innovation

• Build meaningful collaborations around the ideas shaping the future of technology, society and human development

One of the things that excites us most about Amara is the people who are already joining and bringing their expertise, experience, networks and unique perspectives.

Within the community, we already have people working at the United Nations, tech entrepreneurs, scientists, artists, educators, investors, health practitioners and community builders from all over the world.

Imagine having breakfast with an entrepreneur building a company in Africa, working alongside a scientist researching human potential, exchanging ideas with an artist, an educator or someone exploring the frontiers of technology.

The coworking space is not just a place to work. It’s a place to learn from one another, exchange ideas and build meaningful collaborations.

Meet Max 🤍

One of the things that inspires us most about Max is that he never set out to become a minister.

He started by doing the work.

As an entrepreneur and environmental advocate in Madagascar, he dedicated himself to creating tangible impact on the ground through reforestation, sustainable development and community initiatives. His commitment eventually caught the attention of national leaders.

Before turning 30, he was appointed Minister of Environment and Sustainable Development of Madagascar.

Not because he was chasing a political career, but because his work, leadership and desire to serve had already made him impossible to ignore.

Today, Max continues to build bridges between entrepreneurship, environmental regeneration, public policy and community impact.

At Amara, we often talk about creating positive change in the world. Max reminds us that meaningful change rarely starts with titles or positions. It starts with people who decide to contribute where they are, with what they have.

We’re grateful to have him as part of the Amara adventure.

One thing we hear often is that people wish they exercised more.

The reality is that it’s much easier when you’re surrounded by people who make it part of everyday life.

That’s one of the things we hope to create at Amara.

A place where you can go for a run with your neighbour, join a workout after breakfast, learn a new sport, try martial arts, dance, mobility or simply move your body because that’s what people around you are doing.

What excites me most isn’t the facilities.

It’s the people.

In our community we already have people who have coached professional athletes and national teams, worked around World Cups, former Olympians, dancers, movement specialists and health professionals.

Not just people who can tell us what to do.

People who can help us understand why we do it.

How to train. How to recover. How the body works. How the mind affects performance. How to build habits that actually last.

The dream isn’t to build a sports centre.

It’s to be surrounded by people who inspire us to become a little stronger, healthier and more capable than we would be on our own.

Meet Kaitlyn & Kira 🥰

Kaitlyn works in hospitality and is one of the co-creators helping shape the Amara journey.

She also brings something very special with her: her daughter, Kira.

We all have a soft spot for Kira already. She’s incredibly friendly, naturally curious, and always happy to start a conversation with someone she has just met. Whether in English or French, she seems to connect effortlessly with people and reminds us how naturally community can happen when we stay open to one another.

Together, they bring warmth, openness, and a beautiful family energy to the project, and we’re grateful to have them as part of this adventure.🤍

Meet the Founders.

Long before Amara existed, each of us was exploring a similar idea in our own way.

A place where people could live closer to nature, learn continuously, take care of their wellbeing, build meaningful relationships, and be part of something larger than themselves.

For years, we worked on these visions separately.

Then one day, our paths crossed.

What started as a conversation quickly revealed a surprising overlap in values, aspirations and ideas. Rather than building three different projects, we decided to bring them together.

Amara was born from that meeting.

While the three of us initiated the project, we also believe that something like this cannot be created by a handful of people alone.

A village is not built by founders. It is built by a community.

That is why Amara was designed as a co-creation process from the very beginning. The architects, experts, families, entrepreneurs, artists, educators, wellness practitioners and future residents who are contributing their ideas today are helping shape what Amara will become tomorrow.

In that sense, we may have started the journey, but we see all those helping bring this vision to life as founders too.

The Wellness Center is more than a building.

It’s a place shaped by the people who bring it to life.

Within the community are nutritionists, breathwork teachers, doctors, health practitioners, movement coaches, researchers and many others, each bringing their own knowledge, experience and perspective on wellbeing.

The idea is simple: create a place where people can learn directly from one another.

Attend workshops. Join programs. Ask questions. Explore different approaches to health. Share experiences. Discover practices that resonate.

The real value of this place won’t come from the walls around it.

It will come from the people inside.

Are you more team Yon yoga beneath the trees or flow above the hills ?

Meet Sophie 🤍

Art has a unique way of bringing people together.

Through stories, beauty, ideas and emotions, it helps us see the world through different eyes.

As the lead of Amara’s Art & Culture pillar, Sophie is helping imagine how creativity can become part of everyday life in the village.

Most recently, she was Creative Lead for the Art Basel Awards, celebrating the people and ideas driving culture forward.

Together with the community, she’ll help create spaces where people can learn, share, create and connect through art and culture.

We’re excited to have her on this journey 😇

Meet Carlo 🤍

An Italian entrepreneur, former architect, winery founder and long-time business leader, Carlo has spent decades building projects at the intersection of business, culture, hospitality and human connection.

After founding and running a premium winery for 45 years, collaborating with international companies like Coca-Cola, Oracle, Pfizer, BMW and Volkswagen, and leading initiatives across tourism, events and public institutions, his path naturally evolved toward something deeper.

Today, through his association Il Cerchio di Kòs, Carlo focuses on human development, community building, education, creativity and well-being.

What we love about him is this balance between entrepreneurial experience, philosophical reflection and genuine care for people.

A social impact entrepreneur with a rare mix of grounded life experience, curiosity and openness to new perspectives.

Very happy to have him as part of the Amara co-creation journey 🤍
