Apparently this is how Pilates teacher trainees like to relax after an intense session. 😎

I captured this little moment during the Body Athletica Pilates teacher training retreat at Monte Sobradinho, and I loved the pure joy of it.

Lots of learning, movement and hard work, balanced with sunshine, laughter and a slightly chaotic pool jump.

We were also very lucky with the weather. This beautiful sunshine lasted just long enough, because about an hour later the heavens opened. 😅

I love photographing retreats for exactly this reason. The sessions matter, of course, but so do all those unpredictable moments in between. And this one was sooo much fun to capture. ✨✨✨

We are SO excited to finally announce that our very first NERA Pilates & Wellness Retreat is officially open for bookings!

Imagine a few days surrounded by beautiful Portuguese scenery, sunshine, Reformer Pilates, nourishing food, relaxation and the most wonderful company.

A chance to slow down, step away from the busyness of everyday life and enjoy a little time that’s completely for YOU.

From morning Pilates sessions and relaxing massages to sound healing, beautiful meals prepared by our private chef and special experiences throughout your stay, we’ve put so much thought and love into creating something truly memorable.

But more than anything, we want this retreat to be about connection, joy, relaxation and making beautiful memories together.

We opened bookings exclusively to those who registered their interest earlier this week, and we’re so happy to say we’ve already had our first few bookings!
