Spot them from the sky, visit them on the ground! 👍 The two iconic red buildings of the Olhão Municipal Market 🏢🏢 are easily visible when you land in or fly out of Faro ✈️ and they are well worth a visit!

Here is how they stack up inside:
🐟 The left building: Your go-to spot for fresh seafood and meat.
🍅 The right building: Packed with fresh vegetables, vibrant fruits, & all the rest.

☀️ Pro tip: Saturday mornings are the absolute best time to visit! The entire experience becomes even more diverse as local farmers set up vibrant outdoor stands all along both buildings to sell their (fresh) local produce. 🧺🥖

Current status: Defeated by the heat. 🥵🔥🛌 These 5 smart cookies are currently hogging the aircon and snoozing away: 💤 Mars, Spike & Coco 🐱 and Yuna & Tara. 🐶

We’re hoping our other 8 cats 🐱 are safely hiding in the shade somewhere and will join this nap party shortly. 🛋️🐾 Honestly, the heat is getting to us too 😴 and a family siesta is sounding better and better by the minute... 💤🧊🏡

P.S. Before you ask - no, the aircon isn't on! 🚫 Well, not yet. 😉❄️ We've got the huge balcony doors wide open and the ventilator blasting. Plus, we are ALL totally used to this warm weather, humans and pets alike! 😎🐾🏡

🧺🚴‍♀️💨 That loaded cargo bike ride home from the Moncarapacho monthly market felt a little extra warm today… and now The Lady of the House knows why! 🥵🔥

She checked our thermometers on the south side (safely out of the wind) and it’s pushing nearly 50°C (122°F) at 1:15 p.m.! Dio mio! ☀️🔥🌡️ No wonder the bike ride felt like a rolling sauna! 💦😅
