O Wellington chegou ainda antes de haver hotel. Veio do Brasil e entrou quando isto ainda era obra, viu a taipa subir camada a camada. Hoje não há bomba, torneira ou portão nesta casa que ele não conheça de cor.

Wellington arrived even before there was a hotel. He came from Brazil and joined us while this place was still a construction site, watching the rammed-earth walls rise layer by layer. Today, there isn’t a pump, tap or gate on the property that he doesn’t know by heart.
Lavínia joined us just a few months ago at reception. She’s from Alentejo but grew up in Sweden. If you feel like checking in in Swedish, go right ahead. She’ll answer. Välkommen.
