We spend a wonderful evening Chez Lara in Olhao. A private dinner on a terrace with several other people we were so glad to meet. Lara knows how to welcome her guests. The table, the plates, the tastes were fantastic. Her cuisine is full of inspiration and flavors. Bravo !

Sometimes, feeling good is simply about things feeling right.

The right place to sit. The right amount of shade.
Sun when you want it. A quiet corner when you need it. And a few steps higher, an open sky above the rooftops of Olhão.

At Casa W, we believe comfort doesn’t need to announce itself.

It comes from simple things, thoughtfully considered. From spaces that feel natural to live in. From having what you need, where you expect to find it. From a house that asks nothing of you.

You arrive. You settle in. And somehow, everything feels obvious.

That, for us, is wellbeing.

Casa W Olhão
An Atlantic way of life.

Some memories are left in photographs.
Others are left in words. 🤍

One of our favourite moments begins after our guests have left.

Opening the guestbook.

Turning the pages.

And discovering stories, little details, heartfelt thanks and memories of days spent in Olhão.

Every message reminds us why Casa W is much more than a place to stay.

It’s a home where travellers slow down, reconnect and create memories they’ll take with them long after they’ve returned home.

To everyone who has taken a few minutes to write in our guestbooks…

Thank you.

Your words become part of the story of Casa W.

One of those Olhão evenings.

The scent of warm summer air. A courtyard beneath the trees. Jazz drifting into the night. Conversations lingering long after the last note.

Yesterday evening at República 14, Projecto Colombiano reminded us why we love this town so much.

Because beyond the islands, the markets and the Atlantic light, Olhão is also a place of culture, creativity and unexpected moments shared under the stars.

And sometimes, that’s all you need for a perfect evening.
