My friend and I loved this property and the host was also pretty awesome. The property was located downtown just steps away from one of Porto’s famous bridges, Sao Bento train station, and many other exciting things. There were many restaurants with great local cuisine and there were many shops. The host provided a map to locate the property. I suggest that you print a copy and keep it on hand. The host also provided excellent instructions on traveling to the property from the airport, train station, or by automobile. He provided written instructions on how to call for a taxi when returning to the airport. The apartment was beautiful with fabulous fixtures throughout. There are two full bathrooms that make it very convenient when sharing accommodations. The view from the living room is priceless. My friend and I would literally stand in the window for long periods of time just taking in the sights.

We chose this place based on the online promo. It met the advertised promise exactly - so rare - and then some. The accommodation was unique, in an adapted historic building with a great bed, good bathroom and kitchen and the most wonderful view of the St Louis Bridge, the river below and across to Gaia. The washing facility was so welcome. We have travelled extensively over many years and this is probably our favourite accommodation. We would happily have moved in. We were met by the owner, Alex, and he could not have been more helpful. Highly recommended.

What a beautiful place. One of the best views out the windows I've seen! The place is pretty big, its got some modern updates in a very old building. You'd think it was going to be loud, but once you close the windows you cant hear a thing. The yard/patio area is great. I cant say enough great things about the view. Its just an amazing place, I would definitely stay there again, in a heartbeat.
